Classes

Orientation, Belay & Safety Class ......$6 (Included in New Climber Package)
Required for all climbers. Explanation of belay equipment, belay technique, climber tie-in, proper communication, gym policies and safety check. Class delivered daily on a walk-in basis.

 

Basic Climbing Technique ......$30 members, $55 non-members
For those new to climbing and want a great introduction to proper technique, terminology, tips, and expert climbing advice for starting out. Duration 1.5 - 2 hrs.

 

Intermediate to Advanced Technique ......$30 members, $55 non-members
This is the next level class for those who have been climbing for a while and want to take their climbing ability to the next level. Recommended for intermediate climbers breaking into advanced level climbs. Duration 1.5 to 2 hrs.

 

Advanced - Learn to Lead Climb ......$25 members, $40 non-members
Minimum age for lead climbing is 12 years old. Must demonstrate solid 5.10 (3-star) top-rope climbing in the gym. Duration 1.5 - 2 hrs.

 

Lead Belay Safety Check/Test ......$6

 

Private Instruction/Training ......$45/hr member, $55/hr non-member
Individual-tailored training for specific routes, techniques, endurance and strength.

NEW - Ice Climbing/Drytooling Course .......$6

Class is taught on Tuesdays at 6:15 pm (call ahead to sign up and for details). Required for climbing the artificial ice/drytooling route. Class is not appropriate for new climbers due to technique required and the difficulty of the route. Ice climbing tool rental is additional at $10/hr if you wish to climb the route.

COMING SOON - Multi-Pitch Safety Course .......$25 members, $40 non-members

Prerequisites: Lead climbing course and rappelling course. Required for climbers new to multi-pitch climbing.
