Format

This competition is a "Redpoint" format. Routes are given a point value based on difficulty. Points are accumulated by climbing routes WITHOUT falls or hangs. Competitors will select routes of their choosing and have five (5) attempts to complete the route without falls/hangs. Attempts will only be used in the event of a tie-breaker. The top 5 routes completed will be used to determine a climber's final score and placement. In the event of a tie, number of attempts will be tallied and the person with the least number of attempts will win the tie breaker.

USA Climbing will award medals to the top SIX in each category and a prize raffle will be held at the end of each competition session.
